In Friday's league match, the visiting Belton-Honea Path Bears basketball team scored a decisive 61-25 triumph over the Palmetto Mustangs.

In their next game, the Bears meet the Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) in a AAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Belton-Honea Path will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Fury come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 57-41 league loss to Powdersville (Greenville, SC).
