Illinois High School Basketball - St. Anthony crushes Pana
January 27, 2024: Pana, IL 62557 St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pana Panthers (Pana, IL), 79-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Anthony upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL) to play the in a National Trail bout on Monday, January 29. The go into the bout with a record of 9-15. North Clay/Clay City won 59-47 in their recent non-league bout against Sandoval (Sandoval, IL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Newton Eagles (Newton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Pana will attempt to upgrade on its 5-22 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 64-42 league win over Marshall (Marshall, IL).
