The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks basketball squad (Hinesburg, VT), was nudged 61-57 in Monday's league battle with the host Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT)

With the victory, Colchester advances its record to 4-10 on the year. The Lakers host Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT) to meet the Bobwhites/Comets in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. The Bobwhites/Comets enter the battle with a record of 7-9.
