The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Beardstown Tigers (Beardstown, IL) and the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), observed Beardstown's basketball team overwhelm Metro-East Lutheran by a score of 54-22.

The Tigers (11-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Granite City (Granite City, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 9-14 record. In their last challenge, Granite City trounced Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL), 36-31, in a non-league challenge.
