With the victory, Vernon Hills advances its record to 17-9 on the year. The Cougars travel to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL) to meet the Blue Demons in a Central Suburban - North battle on Friday, January 31. The Blue Demons enter the battle with a record of 12-14. Maine East won 48-30 in their recent non-league battle against North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL)
