Texas High School Basketball - Panther Creek knocks off Celina

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Panther Creek Panthers basketball team scored a good 71-62 win over the Celina Bobcats.

The Panthers (22-8) will now prepare for their contest against Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region II District 9 contest with a 7-22 record. In their last contest, Van Alstyne was topped by Aubrey (Aubrey, TX), 56-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Lake Dallas Falcons (Corinth, TX) in a 4A Region II District 9 contest, on Friday, January 31. Celina will attempt to better on its 18-13 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 14-16 record after their 64-58 league loss to Sanger (Sanger, TX).
