The St. John's Islanders were victorious over the host Cross Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 34-26 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Islanders clash with the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators (Hollywood, SC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 1. St. John's will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.

The Trojans (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC). The Riptide enter the A Region 5 outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, Charleston Math & Science was defeated by Scott's Branch (Summerton, SC), 42-11, in a league outing.
