Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), 66-57 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Derry upgrades its record to 4-10 on the year. The Trojans travel to Knoch (Saxonburg, PA) to face the Knights in a WPIAL 4A 1 match on Thursday, January 30. The Knights enter the match with a record of 9-9. Knoch won 43-35 in their recent league match against Valley (New Kensington, PA)

The Rams now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greensburg Central Catholic for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. Ligonier Valley will face a Centurions squad coming off a 56-8 league win over South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA). The Centurions record now stands at 11-3.
