January 28, 2025: Kingsport, TN 37664 Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA), 57-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Dobyns-Bennett upgrades its record to 7-11 on the year. The Indians travel to Science Hill (Johnson City, TN) to face the Hilltoppers in a 4A District 1 match on Friday, January 31. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a record of 12-10. Science Hill won 42-28 in their recent non-league match against Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN)
The Blue Devils now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Battle for a Mountain match on Tuesday, January 28.
