South Carolina High School Basketball - Laurence Manning Academy bested by Wilson Hall
January 28, 2025: Manning, SC 29102 Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats (Manning, SC), 43-32 in a league match.
With the victory, Wilson Hall advances its record to 8-12 on the year. The Barons host Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC) to face the Titans in a SCISA 4A Region III match on Friday, January 31. The Titans enter the match with a record of 15-2. Trinity Collegiate won 64-56 in their recent league match against John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC)
The Swampcats now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinewood Prep for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. Laurence Manning Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 63-8 league loss to Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
