Louisiana High School Basketball - East Feliciana nips Belaire
January 29, 2024: Baton Rouge, LA 70815 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the East Feliciana Tigers (Jackson, LA) and the host Belaire Bengals (Baton Rouge, LA), saw East Feliciana's basketball squad hold off Belaire by a count of 42-38.
With the victory, East Feliciana upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Slaughter Community Charter lost 58-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Northeast (Pride, LA)
Next up, the Bengals play the Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Belaire will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 2-19 record after their 58-48 league loss to Brusly (Brusly, LA).
