South Carolina High School Basketball - Broome nudges Blue Ridge

In Tuesday's league outing, the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) basketball squad edged the host Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC), by a margin of 61-58.

The Centurions (12-11) will now prepare for their outing against Woodruff (Woodruff, SC). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 14-9 record. In their last outing, Woodruff was tipped by Clinton (Clinton, SC), 52-47, in a league outing.

The Fighting Tigers now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina Academy for a AAA Region 3 outing on Friday, February 2. Blue Ridge will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 55-48 league loss to Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-15.
