Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn-Trafford edges Gateway
January 30, 2024: Monroeville, PA 15146 The Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA) basketball nipped the host Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA), 54-52 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (10-10) will now prepare for their test against McKeesport (McKeesport, PA). The Tigers go into the WPIAL 5A 3 test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, McKeesport got by Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA), 84-77, in a league test.
The Gators now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kiski Area for a WPIAL 5A 3 test on Thursday, February 1. Gateway will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 61-48 league loss to Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 12-6.
