Nebraska High School Basketball - Elba holds off Harvard

The Elba Bluejays basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Harvard Cardinals to 33 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bluejays now possess a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to High Plains for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Elba will confront a Storm team coming off a 53-48 non-league loss to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE). The Storm record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Harvard falls to 0-17 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE) to confront the Raiders in a D2 District 2 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 10-6. Lawrence-Nelson lost 45-28 in their recent non-league game against Silver Lake (Roseland, NE)
