The Ripley Vikings basketball team (Ripley, WV), was overwhelmed 69-45 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV)

The Patriots now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hurricane for a Mountain State battle on Thursday, February 2. George Washington will confront a Redskins team coming off a 41-38 non-league win over Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 8-10.
