South Carolina High School Basketball - Charleston Math & Science knocked off by Cross

In Friday's league test, the Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC), by a score of 62-52.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix (North Charleston, SC) in a A Region 5 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Cross will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Phoenix come into the test with a 4-11 record after their 67-11 league loss to Bethune-Bowman (Orangeburg, SC).

The Riptide (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Eagles come into the A Region 5 test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Military Magnet Academy beat Scott's Branch (Summerton, SC), 68-63, in a league test.
