South Carolina High School Basketball - South Aiken fells Gilbert

The South Aiken Thoroughbreds basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Gilbert Indians to 45 in the Thoroughbreds league triumph on Friday.

The Thoroughbreds now have a 7-14 record. They play next when they host North Augusta for a AAAA Region 4 game on Tuesday, February 4. South Aiken will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 68-45 league win over Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 18-1.

With the loss, Gilbert falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Indians host Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC) to confront the Mustangs in a AAAA Region 4 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 15-7. Midland Valley won 74-42 in their recent league game against Airport (West Columbia, SC)
