West Virginia High School Basketball - St. Albans nudges Oak Hill
January 31, 2025: St. Albans, WV 25177 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) and the visiting Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV), observed St. Albans's basketball team edge Oak Hill by a score of 57-54.
The Red Dragons (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvary Baptist Academy (Hurricane, WV). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 18-2 record. In their last challenge, Calvary Baptist Academy edged Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV), 46-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Devils encounter the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Oak Hill will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 75-64 non-league loss to Graham (Bluefield, VA).
