Texas High School Basketball - Wilson defeats Poteet
January 31, 2025: Mesquite, TX 75150 The Wilson Wildcats (Dallas, TX) basketball were winner over the host Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX), 56-41 in Friday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 17-14 record. They play next when they host Seagoville for a 5A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Wilson will play a Dragons team coming off a 64-11 league win over Spruce (Dallas, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 18-13.
With the loss, Poteet falls to 13-15 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Adams (Dallas, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-21. Adams lost 49-31 in their recent league bout against Samuell (Dallas, TX)
