Kentucky High School Basketball - Bath County bested by Madison Southern
January 31, 2025: Owingsville, KY 40360 Madison Southern Eagles (Berea, KY) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), 64-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Madison Southern advances its record to 7-10 on the year. The Eagles host Harlan County (Harlan, KY) to meet the Black Bears in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Black Bears enter the match with a record of 3-13. Harlan County lost 69-33 in their recent league match against Bell County (Pineville, KY)
The Wildcats now own a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis County for a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. Bath County will meet a Lions squad coming off a 52-41 league loss to Russell (Russell, KY). The Lions record now stands at 8-9.
