Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC), 41-37 in a league match.

With the victory, Mid-Carolina advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Rebels travel to Eau Claire (Columbia, SC) to face the Shamrocks in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Shamrocks enter the match with a record of 1-2.

The Cyclones now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Chester will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 33-29 non-league win over Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC). The Red Devils record now stands at 7-1.
