New Mexico High School Basketball - Escalante can't hold off Mora

Mora Rangers (Mora, NM) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM), 38-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mora upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Rangers travel to Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 4. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 7-3. Mesa Vista won 61-21 in their recent league match against Penasco (Penasco, NM)

The Lobos now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Questa for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 3.
