The Downingtown West Whippets basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting East Vikings to 45 in the Whippets league victory on Thursday.

The Whippets now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Downingtown East for a Ches-Mont - National contest on Monday, February 5.

The Vikings (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Avon Grove (West Grove, PA). The Red Devils come into the Ches-Mont - National contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Avon Grove was defeated by Henderson (West Chester, PA), 70-57, in a league contest.
