In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Tattnall County Warriors basketball team scored a close 62-60 triumph over the Appling County Pirates.

The Warriors (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Claxton was tipped by Savannah (Savannah, GA), 83-54, in a league contest.
