The Greenbrier East Spartans basketball squad (Lewisburg, WV), was outscored 61-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA)

With the victory, Virginia Episcopal School advances its record to 8-15 on the year. The Bishops travel to Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 16-10. Fairfax Christian won 80-55 in their recent league battle against Rosedale Christian Academy (Baltimore, MD)
