Maine High School Basketball - Richmond triumphant over North Haven
February 1, 2025: Richmond, ME 04357 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) and the visiting North Haven Hawks (North Haven, ME), observed Richmond's basketball team overwhelm North Haven by a score of 45-22.
The Bobcats (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME). The Breakers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Pine Tree Academy was routed by Temple Academy (Waterville, ME), 49-25, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) in a D South challenge, on Monday, February 3. North Haven will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 44-17 league loss to Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME).
