Illinois High School Basketball - Vernon Hills bested by Rolling Meadows
February 1, 2025: Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL), 57-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Rolling Meadows advances its record to 18-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to meet the Knights in a Mid-Suburban - East match on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights enter the match with a record of 21-6. Prospect won 61-8 in their recent league match against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL)
The Cougars now own a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maine West for a Central Suburban - North match on Friday, February 7.
