Louisiana High School Basketball - Reed overwhelms Haynes Academy
February 2, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70129 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Reed Olympians (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), saw Reed's basketball squad wallop Haynes Academy by a tally of 60-28.
With the victory, Reed improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Olympians travel to Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-13.
Next up, the play the New Orleans Charter Science & Math Chambered Nautilus (New Orleans, LA) in a 3A District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Haynes Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Chambered Nautilus come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 72-48 non-league win over Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA).
