North Carolina High School Basketball - Berry can't hold off Palisades

February 3, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28278

The Palisades Pumas basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Berry Cardinal to 38 in the Pumas league victory on Friday.

The Pumas now sport a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harding University for a 4A Conference 49 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Palisades will battle a Rams team coming off a 75-74 league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Rams record now stands at 10-12.

The Cardinal (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 5-17 record. In their last contest, Cuthbertson edged Weddington (Matthews, NC), 59-57, in a league contest.
