Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD), 58-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seneca Valley upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Screamin' Eagles host Rockville (Rockville, MD) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Rockville lost 56-16 in their recent non-league bout against Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD)

Next up, the Hornets play the Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Damascus will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record.
