Texas High School Basketball - Guyer thwarts Braswell
February 4, 2025: Little Elm, TX 76227 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) and the host Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX), observed Guyer's basketball team knock off Braswell by a score of 55-38.
The Wildcats (26-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX). The Jaguars come into the 6A Region I District 5 challenge with a 12-17 record. In their last challenge, Flower Mound prevailed over Hebron (Carrollton, TX), 50-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bengals encounter the Little Elm Lobos (Little Elm, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Braswell will attempt to improve on its 22-11 season record. The Lobos come into the challenge with a 23-9 record after their 93-85 league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX).
