The Myrtle Beach Seahawks basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Socastee Braves to 55 in the Seahawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Seahawks now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina Forest for a AAAAA Region 6 game on Friday, February 7. Myrtle Beach will confront a Panthers team coming off a 60-42 league loss to North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Socastee falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Braves host Conway (Conway, SC) to confront the Tigers in a AAAAA Region 6 game on Friday, February 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 20-3. Conway won 46-37 in their recent league game against St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC)
