Michigan High School Basketball - Almont overwhelms Marlette
February 4, 2025: Marlette, MI 48453 The Almont Raiders basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Marlette Red Raiders to 23 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Raiders now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Imlay City for a Blue Water Area game on Friday, February 7. Almont will confront a Spartans team coming off a 55-34 non-league win over Marine City (Marine City, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Marlette falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Memphis (Memphis, MI) to confront the Yellowjackets in a Greater Thumb - East game on Thursday, February 6. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 4-9. Memphis lost 61-29 in their recent league game against Brown City (Brown City, MI)
