South Carolina High School Basketball - Calhoun County holds off Blackville-Hilda
February 4, 2025: St. Matthews, SC 29135 The Calhoun County Saints basketball team scored 24 points and limited the visiting Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks to 17 in the Saints non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Saints now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Wagener-Salley for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Calhoun County will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 40-38 non-league loss to Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC). The War Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Blackville-Hilda falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Fighting hawks host Hunter-Kinard-Tyler (Neeses, SC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 2-1. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler lost 39-26 in their recent non-league game against Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC)
