The Capitol Lions basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Franklinton Demons to 78 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison Prep Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7. Capitol will meet a team coming off a 77-29 league win over Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The record now stands at 23-3.
