In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Monta Vista Matadors basketball team scored a good 73-65 triumph over the Saratoga Falcons.

The Matadors (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Homestead (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs go into the Santa Clara Valley - El Camino contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Homestead topped Lynbrook (San Jose, CA), 56-46, in a league contest.
