Illinois High School Basketball - Boylan Catholic can't get by Wheaton Academy
February 5, 2025: West Chicago, IL 60185 The Boylan Catholic Titans basketball squad (Rockford, IL), was nudged 34-32 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL)
The Warriors now possess a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Parkview Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. Wheaton Academy will play a Falcons team coming off a 42-34 non-league win over Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 9-11.
With the loss, Boylan Catholic falls to 16-12 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Freeport (Freeport, IL) to play the Pretzels in a Northern Illinois 10 bout on Friday, February 7. The Pretzels go into the bout with a record of 22-6. Freeport won 66-52 in their recent league bout against Hononegah (Rockton, IL)
