The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) and the host Central Knights (Providence, RI), observed North Providence's basketball team overwhelm Central by a score of 65-32.

The Cougars (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders come into the Division III challenge with a 15-2 record. In their last challenge, Prout trounced Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI), 44-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep (Central Falls, RI) in a Division III challenge, on Friday, February 7. Central will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record.
