The Portola Tigers basketball team scored 37 points and limited the host Sierra Lutheran Falcons to 16 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now possess a 14-10 record. They play next when they host Biggs for a Mid-Valley game on Thursday, February 6. Portola will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 57-32 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 18-4.

With the loss, Sierra Lutheran falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to confront the Mustangs in a 2A Northern game on Friday, February 7. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 18-6. Pershing County won 32-29 in their recent league game against Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV)
