February 6, 2024: Spencer, IN 47460 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN) and the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN), saw Owen Valley's basketball squad hold off Eastern Greene by a tally of 60-53.
With the victory, Owen Valley improves its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Patriots host Monrovia (Monrovia, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Monrovia won 71-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Vincennes Lincoln Alices (Vincennes, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Eastern Greene will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Alices come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 53-42 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, IN).
