South Carolina High School Basketball - Military Magnet Academy tops St. John's
February 6, 2024: North Charleston, SC 29405 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Military Magnet Academy Eagles (North Charleston, SC) and the visiting St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC), saw Military Magnet Academy's basketball squad knock off St. John's by a count of 69-57.
With the victory, Military Magnet Academy upgrades its record to 9-16 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC) to play the Bobcats in a A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Baptist Hill lost 56-45 in their recent league challenge against Burke (Charleston, SC)
Next up, the Islanders play the Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 8. St. John's will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 18-4 record after their 71-38 league win over Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC).
