Nebraska High School Basketball - Bellevue West tops Bellevue East
February 6, 2024: Bellevue, NE 68123 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE) and the visiting Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE), saw Bellevue West's basketball squad knock off Bellevue East by a tally of 66-47.
With the victory, Bellevue West improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Omaha Central (Omaha, NE) to play the Eagles in a A District TBD challenge on Friday, February 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Omaha Central won 68-41 in their recent league challenge against Fremont (Fremont, NE)
Next up, the Chieftains play the Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Friday, February 9. Bellevue East will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 63-51 league loss to Millard West (Omaha, NE).
