The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC), observed Covenant Day's basketball team knock off Charlotte Christian by a score of 74-63.

The Lions (15-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC). The Buccaneers come into the NCISAA Charlotte Independent challenge with a 16-12 record. In their last challenge, Charlotte Country Day School prevailed over Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC), 55-54, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent challenge, on Friday, February 7.
