The Sandhills Classical Christian Lions basketball squad (Whispering Pines, NC), was crushed 52-24 in Thursday's league battle with the host Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC)

With the victory, Christ the Cornerstone Academy advances its record to 13-1 on the year. The Defenders host Liberty Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC) to meet the Knights in a Carolinas Christian battle on Monday, February 10. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 5-8. Liberty Christian Academy lost 49-35 in their recent league battle against Cornerstone Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC)

The Lions now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. Sandhills Classical Christian will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 58-43 league loss to Liberty Christian (Durham, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 16-12.
