North Carolina High School Basketball - Western Harnett ripped by Westover
February 7, 2023: Fayetteville, NC 28303 The Westover Wolverines basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Western Harnett Eagles to 19 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to E.E. Smith for a 3A/4A Conference 23 contest on Friday, February 10. Westover will battle a Golden Bulls team coming off a 45-32 league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls record now stands at 18-3.
The Eagles (2-20) will now prepare for their contest against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs enter the 3A/4A Conference 23 contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Terry Sanford was routed by E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC), 45-32, in a league contest.
