In Wednesday's league outing, the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) basketball squad beat the visiting Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), by a count of 86-66.

The Braves (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 3-17 record. In their last outing, Calvert defeated Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD), 67-43, in a league outing.

The Patriots now hold a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Leonardtown for a Southern Maryland outing on Friday, February 9. Northern will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 55-38 league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 11-6.
