North Carolina High School Basketball - Western Alamance thwarts Cedar Ridge

February 7, 2025: Elon, NC 27244

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) and the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), observed Western Alamance's basketball team knock off Cedar Ridge by a score of 66-46.

The Warriors (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Person (Roxboro, NC). The Rockets come into the 3A Central challenge with a 20-2 record. In their last challenge, Person prevailed over Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 77-68, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Fighting Red Wolves encounter the Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) in a 3A Central challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Cedar Ridge will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record.
