The Shawnee Mission Christian Mustangs basketball squad (Shawnee Mission, KS), was crushed 63-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Cornerstone Family Saints (Topeka, KS)

With the victory, Cornerstone Family advances its record to 12-8 on the year. The Saints travel to Whitefield Academy (Kansas City, MO) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 11-2. Whitefield Academy won 52-45 in their recent league battle against Shawnee Mission Christian (Shawnee Mission, KS)

The Mustangs now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage Christian for a Midwest Christian battle on Saturday, February 8. Shawnee Mission Christian will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 62-52 league win over St. Joseph Defenders (St. Joseph, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 8-4.
