Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Scott's Branch Eagles (Summerton, SC), 59-47 in a league match.

With the victory, Cross upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC) to face the Phoenix in a A Region 5 match on Monday, February 10. The Phoenix enter the match with a record of 4-13. Palmetto Scholars Academy lost 54-45 in their recent league match against Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC)

The Eagles now sport a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowcountry Leadership for a A Region 5 match on Tuesday, February 11. Scott's Branch will face a NaviGators squad coming off a 97-50 league loss to Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC). The NaviGators record now stands at 4-16.
