South Carolina High School Basketball - James Island overwhelms Fort Dorchester

February 7, 2025: Charleston, SC 29412

The James Island Trojans basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Fort Dorchester Patriots to 31 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now possess a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Ashley Ridge for a AAAAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, February 11. James Island will confront a Swamp Foxes team coming off a 52-49 league win over Summerville (Summerville, SC). The Swamp Foxes record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Fort Dorchester falls to 8-15 on the campaign. The Patriots host Stall (Charleston, SC) to confront the Warriors in a AAAAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 3-18. Stall lost 79-34 in their recent league game against West Ashley (Charleston, SC)
